A seafood station is the best way to start a party
We’ve been rocking food stations for as long as we can remember, because we think they’re such a fun way to entertain your guests!
One of the coolest (literally) ways to kick off a party is with a raw bar – just like we did at one of our recent events.
Guests entered the party to an array of oysters, ceviche and sashimi on ice, with accompaniments like caviar, blinis and fresh citrus.
We love piling our seafood into acrylics with bucketloads of crushed ice, and serving sashimi or ceviche in tin cans! Shells are also the perfect vessel for serving things like scallops.
With the chef’s manning the station and shucking the oysters fresh, it’s the perfect way to welcome guests in, get them moving around the room and treating them to a little decadence!
You can even go all out and create the rest of the menu to work around the raw bar! We served pisco sours (because what goes better with ceviche AND gets a party going?!).
We also tied in the styling elements on the raw bar with what was going on in the rest of the room! Like this minimal DJ setup and photobooth.
