Meet our new function venue, with a difference.

Emulation Hall is located in the inner eastern suburb of Canterbury. Dating back to 1927, the former Masonic Lodge is one of Melbourne’s most unique event spaces.

This heritage listed building has been lovingly and beautifully restored to its former glory. Emulation Hall comprises three distinct spaces to accommodate celebrations and events of all kinds.

The Temple Room is a truly remarkable space that has retained all the original Masonic features including stepped floors, timber bench seating, ornate ceilings and stunning heritage light fittings. This secret room is a quietly glamorous space that is perfect for ceremonies, awards nights, conferences and sit down dinners for up to 80 guests.

The Supper Room in Emulation Hall is a large, light filled space, with original wooden detailing, custom lighting and an impressive timber bar. This area is alongside the Temple Room and is ideal for cocktail functions, corporate bookings and smaller celebrations.

The Main Hall takes up the entire ground floor. With it’s soaring ornate ceiling and pristine hardwood floors, it truly is a grand space. The neutral décor offers class and opulence that speaks for itself, yet also allows for an array of styling options.

This level of Emulation Hall also includes a sweeping entry, a bar and a stage. The Main Hall is ideal for weddings, birthdays, large sit-down dining events, performances, and large corporate functions. It can hold up to 200 guests for a seated banquet and 400 for a cocktail event.
