In 2019 we’re celebrating Ten Years
Ten Years in business, Ten Years of catering special events, and Ten Years of creating memorable moments.
Khrissy & Nigel started Cnk Catering ten years ago and still run the business to this day, with Khrissy as Managing Director and Nigel as Executive Chef. To celebrate Ten Years, we gathered some of Melbourne’s best vendors together at a cool new venue and had a fabulous party. Take a look inside!
Each of the rooms at The Wool Mill was styled by Ruffles & Bells to have it’s own distinctive look! From a Light & Airy space with pisco sours & ceviche, to a Dark and Moody room with live music and heart food. Little Floral Soul’s florals, Microhire’s lighting, Place Settings furniture & Luna Twelve’s hire items brought each of the moods and looks to life.
We served a mix of roving canapés with some fun & interactive food stations, from a seafood raw bar to a lechon belly station with the chefs carving.
The Wool Mill has a secret bar, which was the perfect spot for our hidden dessert Rabbit Hole. We set up a display of unexpected sweets – nothing was what it seemed! Microhire provided the lighting, projection & sound effects to make it feel like you truly fell down the rabbit hole when you stepped inside.
We had fabulous entertainment! Hotel Heartbreak were on the DJ decks and Nathan & Susie captivated us all with their live music. Guests (and the chefs!) had a great time in the photo booth by The Photo Booth Guys, with a custom backdrop by Moonshot Balloons.
